Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Quitc a lot has appeared in the media in recent weeks about the apparent falling from grace of the job description "truck driver". Apparently it's no longer seen as a noble profession.

Maybe to those social commentators who spend their time idly pigeonholing other human beings we, the drivers, are an irrelevance who don't cut the mustard when it comes to comparison with upwardly mobile professions.

Well let me tell them this. If truck drivers didn't work for a week the public would notice immediately as shops would close with no goods to sell. As for the social commentators, if they did the same the only trace of their enforced absence would be one less column inch of irrelevence in our newspapers. Who's the more expendable? You choose. Mitch Davies, Maidstone, Kent.
