Employment: After leaving school worked at the Berni Inns Group and Whitbread in various management roles.

TNT history: Joined in 1986 as a sales executive at TNT Luton.

• In 1999 becomes regional director for London.

• In 2001 joins TNT's Australian business as regional director for the south.

• Returns to UK in 2005 as operations director for TNT Express Specialist Services (now TNT Business Solutions).

• Becomes divisional director in 2006.

• In 2009 becomes director of operations at TNT UK.

Hobbies: Reading, cooking, running, golf and supporting Leicester Tigers.
