ANEW joint export senice is to be provided
by Thos. Cook and Son Ltd. and the Portland Group Factors. designed to provide all packing, shipping, forwarding, insurance and clearance through Customs Thos. Cook will arrange the physical handling of each shipment, from the packing stage in the UK to arrival on the buyer's premises.
Portland takes the shipping documents from Thos. Cook and settles its account and the exporter then receives an immediate cash payment for each shipment.
