VOLLOWING a fire brigade sub-committee visit to the Magirus works in W. Germany, "Glasgow Corporation has decided to order one 100 ft. turntable fire appliance and two dualpurpose appliances on Magirus-Deutz chassis. The improved delivery date offered by Magirus and the reported difficulties being experienced in obtaining an AEC chassis for an appliance, were factors in the decision.
