MAN THOUSANDS of Calmer Cars are in active service, not only in this country, but throughout the world, and there is consequently a con gent demand for replacement parts: The manufacturers of the vehicles, Commercial Cars, Ltd., Luton, are now making a special feature a service and repairs, and every care is being taken to attend to the needs of all owners, whether they have one vehicle or many.

Although the company are not exhibiting at Olympia they have taken space at the West Kensington Garage, 159, Hammersmith Road, London, W.6 (telephone Hammersmith 645). Here representative types of Cominer Car vehicles will be available for inspection and. demonstration.These will include a 20type 2-ton Model fitted with a lorry body, an R.C. type 3-4-ton chassis and a C.C. type 5-6-ton chassis. It will be noted that these are all goods-carrying vehicles, hut It must not be forgotten that the company also build several chassis particularly suitable for passenger work as coaches 'or buses.

Recently orders have been received for vehicles from Ireland, London, Cheshire and the Home Counties, several. of these being repeat orders; amongst the latter being one from the Corporation of Blackpool. This shows that the company are adopting a very active policy, which is, helped to a considerable extent by the satisfaction which is almost invariably expressed regarding this make of vehicle, even after years of arduous service.
