assistant general manager of Morris Commercial Cars, Ltd., Birmingham. He is on the Council of the S.M.M. and T., and a member of the Commercial Vehicle Exhibition Committee. Mr. King joined Morris Commercial Cars, Ltd., soon after Sir William Morris purchased the business of E. G. Wrigley and Co., Ltd., and has been responsible for the control and development of the export and home sales departments of the company's business. Previously he was associated with S. Smith and Sons (M.A.), Ltd., as technical engineer, specializing in the design of carburetters and other instruments, and a great measure of his success must be attributed to a combination of practical engineering knowledge with undoubted commercial ability. In the very limited spare time at his disposal Mr. King is a keen
horticulturist and musician.
