ID. The 200 double-deck bus chassis ordered from British Leyland by Glasgow Corporation Transport (CM August 7) will be fitted with bodies by Walter Alexander and Co Ltd at a total cost of £1,221,870. Designed for one-man operation, the complete buses (9-metre Leyland AtIanteans) will cost £11,465 each, and will join a large fleet of similar buses.
