• "It all began 50 years ago on April 1 1920. In a tiny office in Berners Street, London. stood three desks. Then, one of them was empty for one partner was in America trying to drum up some business in the expanding engineering market." So opens a book written by T. H. Wisdom and just published by Automotive Products of Leamington Spa, recording the group's 50 years of engineering development.
The 50-page book is illustrated with many photographs and drawings. some in colour, notably of Lockheed and Borg and Beck developments in braking and transmissions.
