Although best known for its dry powder tan kers.Feldbinder is gaining ground in Britain's petroleum and fuel oil supply sectors and its first in Ireland is going to Eurofuels in Waterford.
A good example for the UK is the 42,000 litre, 6-compartment tanker— number 14 in Turners (Soham)'s I 8-stong fleet. It's made from 5088 aluminium, and equipped with Emco Drum's latest bottom loading system and BPW EcoPlus Airlight 9t. tri-axle gear.
Working under contract with BWOC, the trailer has optional pneumatic lifting side-guards, and weighs 5,380kg.Feldbinder also builds stainless steel 32,000 litre tankers for carrying tar at up to 250°C.A typical user is Lagan Bitumen.
Feldbinder is also supplying the WGTanker rental fleet with 60, 36m3 powdertankers;WGT fits its own low-noise powerpack.
Another Feldbinder pressurevac tipping powder tanker user is TDG for ground level recovery and evacuation of bulk powders. It has automatic self-cleaning air filtration.
