Fleetwood-based K9 Logistics (UK) after ay were caught running without Operators Licences.
VI staff seized the vehicles operating in and around the ncashire port following an operation that lasted most of it Sunday (17 March). The tractors are being held by P&O, iich is contracted to store impounded vehicles on the VI's half. Six of the eight seized trucks were issued with prodtions for mechanical defects.
Ironically. K9 was working for P&O Ferrymasters pulling rtainsiders out of Fleetwood docks. It also operates seval Irish-registered tractors on UK work.
A spokesman for P&O confirms that K9 was working for when the trucks were confiscated last weekend but resses that P&O has been shown a K9 0-licence with a 105 expiry date. K9 owner Tom Anderson says he will cement further after meeting VI officials later this week.
