CHARTHIRE SERVICES is expanding its contract hire business into the London area by paying around Elm for Cooper London and its J. Lomas subsidiary.
Stirling-based Charth ire operates from Scotland, Leeds, and the West Midlands and runs around 600 vehicles. Its acquisition of Cooper — the first takeover by the company — gives it another 300 vehicles, many of them devoted to newspaper delivery work.
