This impressive looking Scania and Dyson outfit is claimed to be the first fully armoured articulated unit to be operating in Europe. The operators are a joint security transport enterprise, Brinks-MAT Ltd, whose headquarters are in the City and the vehicle will be used for hauling bullion to all parts of Europe. The two-bunk sleeper cab is fully protected and includes such items as gun ports for use in countries where firearms are permitted. The specialized construction work was carried out by S and B Bodies Ltd, of Berkshire Road, London E9. Brinks Incorporated of Chicago was formed in 1859 and claims to be the world's largest money moverwith over 1300 armoured vehicles.
