THE FORMER owner of a Lancaster removals company has joined Preston based Whittle International Movers in the new position of commercial development man
ager. Max Godfrey, who sold Sharpies to another removals company , Whites. now has special responsibility for the completion of WhittIc's Brewer and Tomball franchise.
The new role also includes opening up new markets and exploring and developing corporate accounts.
Mr Gofrey's career in the removals business spans more than 30 years and has covered most aspects of it. In addition, he has twice been chair man of the North-West area of the British Association of Removers.
At present he is NorthWest delegate to the Inland Group Council of BAR, a director of BAR Services and of Lancaster Training Services.
