A NOTHER association has been Pliorrned, and, in this case, one that is not redundant to-those existing. It is entitled the " Industrial Truck Manufacturers' Association," and comprises concerns which manufacture poweroperated works trucks, tractors, trailers and ancillary equipment, which are primarily used for internal works transport.
It is intended that the Association shall form a medium through which the Government can consult the industry on all matters on which the guidance of the members as a body is sought. There have been many moves in recent years in connection with the products which are represented, and the war has greatly stimulated the employment of these useful little transport media. Many modem, factories cover huge areas, and without such speedy appliances considerable delays would occur in the transport of materials and of parts in course of production.
