NO fewer than seven vehicles are staged on this stand. The chief item of interest, of course, is the new six-cyliudered low-loading passenger chassis; which was dealt with in full in last week's issue of The Commercial Motor. It will be recalled that the 14 h.p. 30-cwt. model chassis was modified considerably in the middle of the year. An entirely new engine was fitted which, apart from giving off more power, has several interesting features that combine to render it easy to look
after. This particular chassis has a capacity for pay-load which has been popular in the past and is now becoming even more popular. Further, it is a size admirably suited to the overseas markets, as a good ground clearance is provided for all chassis parts and the load is compactly arranged without much overhang behind the rear axle.
To deal with the exhibits in more detail. Rated at 17.9 h.p. the new sixcylindered engine provides ample power to give the new passenger chassis an extraordinarily good road performance. The six cylinders have a bore and stroke of 60 rem and 120 mm. respectively,
