ACOMPREHENSIVE exhibit of the produCts_. of General Motors, Ltd., is on view on this stand. G.M.C. models are' of particular interest, as the chassis has just been produced in two 'forms, the T20 and the T40, of 30cwt. and 50-cwt. capaCify. respectively. The lighter embodies the Standard sixcyhudered engine" of the Buick, ,whilst the heavier has the Master engine of 2575 lip.
These two models have been introduced with a view to providing a better class of vehicle -for both goods and passenger carrying, the greatersmoothness and power of the well-built. Sixcylindered engines Jiving almost luxurious running: Both these "engines have overhead' valves, erankshalts . with counterbalance weights and torsi on balancers, air cleaners and -special" oil filters, whilst they are mounted at three points on rubber shock absorbers. • Ignition in "each case is by coil and distributor, and three speeds are provided. The frames are of channel-section steel with four ..channeVsection ,cross-memhers well pis-acted to give strength diagonally.

In the lighter model—the T20—the brakes are of the internal type with drums 16 ins, in diameter and acting on the rear u-heels only. In the T40, model the brakes act on all .wheels, those at the rear having

As regard's complete vehicles, the 14seater bus, of . the one-man-operated pattern with" a United body, is shown on the T20 chassis, and a 20-seater bus of the same pattern, but with Phceuix body, on the T40 chassis. For goods there will be a 30-cwt. van with the driving cab fully protected, the body being a Spurling.
An example of the 25-cwt. Chevrolet is staged and on a similar chassis there are a 14-seater one-man-controlled bus, 25-ewt. van,a 25-cwt. lorry with hinged sides and tailboard, and a twotier cattle truck with ramps' at the rear
and off side. Lastly, there is a light delivery van to carry loads of 10 cwt., an extremely useful model for the tradesman demanding speedy service.
The engine of the Chevrolet has four cylinders cast en bloc with detachable head and overhead valves. The gearbox, which is, built as -a unit with the engine, provides three speeds, and the clutch is of the single:dry-plate pattern.
