Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

by Brian Weatherley • CV finance specialist Key Leasing hopes to extend its growing UK used truck sales and leasing operation on to the Continent within the next 12 months — possibly through parent company TIP Europe.

By using TIP's continental trailer rental depots as a base for its used truck operation, Key could enter the market without having to spend heavily on infrastructure.

According to leasing division boss Peter Phillips: "We're keeping a very open mind on it — we don't need to invest a great deal because TIP is already based in Europe. To go via TIP would be very efficient. It would be a gradual process."

Key has recently set up a leasing office in Rotterdam which could form the jumping-off point for continental used sales, Having visited a number of continental used dealers, Malcom Taylor, head of Key's used vehicle sales says: "What we're trying to do is lock into TIP's customer base. We're looking around and researching it properly."
