Blackpool-based Builders Supplies (West Coast) is appealing for information about a Mercedes-Benz 1617 four wheeled tipper stolen in daylight by daring Bank Holiday thieves. The green tipper is fitted with an Atlas 3006 brick crane and is worth El 5,000. The vehicle, reg E767 CCA, has a white roof and bumper and red wheels. The name of the company is in cream. Thieves broke into the company's depot on Kilbane Street, Fleetwood, Lancs on Monday 29 August. The vehicle was taken between 16:30hrs when the depot was checked and 17:45hrs when the theft was reported by a neighbour. The chassis number is 61701425356703 and the engine number is 36695220870286.

wner-driver Tony Boon has been grounded from his
international work by the theft of his MAN 6x2 twin steer artic. His 22.362 model was stolen between 20:30hrs on Monday 5 September and 05:00hrs the next day. Thieves broke into the unit, which was parked on the Appledore Road in Tenterden, Kent, by cutting out a small side window. The truck, reg E271 CNN, was not usually parked at this site. The truck, worth around £1 4,000, has a green, yellow and grey cab and blue curtainsided trailer. Its chassis number is WMAF 530002M070576 and its engine number is 368-5591-056-8181.
