THE UNITED Road Transport Union is keeping its powder dry and will not announce a wage claim for its North-west drivers until next month.
North-west regional secretary Frank Griffin told CM that nothing will be formulated until after the Trade Union Congress, and he said it was difficult to judge how things will develop. "At the moment, people cannot ignore the current economic situation," he added.
