• Cummins Engine Company has converted its machine shop oil mist removal system to individual filtration units to gain improved flexibility.
Fourteen self-cleaningmechanical units have been supplied by Filtermist International of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, as part of a major refurbishment of the fuel systems workshop.
Filtennist says the units remove 96% of all oil-mist particles including those above 0.8 microns. The operating principle is centrifugal impaction.
