• South Wales haulier Graham Lowder Transport has put the first Steyr tractive unit to hit Britain's roads into service this week, running under a liveried contract to Somerset Wire of Cardiff.
The 38-tonne GVW Steyr 19 S31 has been delivered with a top sleeper cab, by local dealer Walls Truck Services of Newport in Gwent, weighing in at 6.75 tonnes unladen.
It is powered by Steyr's 235kW (315hp), 9.7-litre turbocharged and intercooled WS 615.68 six-cylinder diesel engine.
