• Southworth Chassis Engineering has fitted its first lifting mid-axle conversion to a Seddon Atkinson Strato.
Owner John Kettlewell from South Humberside runs a wide variety of trailers; he had the conversion carried out on the 3.4m-wheelbase Strata 400 to increase operational flexibility.
The conversion costs about £5,460 (ex-VAT, wheels and tyres), and Southworth offers a 10-day turn-round.
