Giltspur Bullen has won a =ontract to lift seven trade 3hows to be held at the new National Exhibition Centre at Birmingham next year.
The work will be handled by the company's new NEC depot which has already handled several exhibitions since it was opened last spring.
Depot manager David Bourne and his team achieved their biggest success when they were appointed agents for the international handling, forwarding and transport for the International Toy Fair in January.
Giltspur Bullens was the first company to be established on the exhibition site in the transport and handling business and it says it has benefited from this.
It has been awarded contracts for more than 20 shows next year and more shows in 1978. Until now the Hinckley depot has been supplying the needs of the exhibitors and it will continue to act as back-up for the NEC depot.
