k SKIP OPERATOR is offering a :2,500 reward for information eading to the arrest and convicion of the arsonists responsible or an attack on three of his trucks n Surrey.
They were stored along with a iumber of other vehicles in Bricklouse Lane. Godstone. when the irebombers struck at 9.30pm on 9 January. One, worth £30,000, as destroyed after being set on tre: the others had their windows mashed and were doused in fuel Put were not otherwise damaged.
It is believed the offenders fled iefore they had the chance to set hese alight because of an exploion in the lirst vehicle.
DCAlan Clarke says:-The proprty is used to store a number of other vehicles including vans,JCBs and removal lorries but the only vehicles attacked were the three skip lorries that are kept there.
"The owner cannot think of any reason why his skip company has been targeted in this way so I am appealing for anyone who knows why this might have happened or who knows who is responsible to please come forward."
