This English concern is exhibiting Licorne commercial vehicles, of which we anticipate much more will soon be heard. The 25cwt. chassis on this stand calls for favourable comment owing to the substantial character of the engine and chassis design generally. The four-cylinder engine impresses one with having been well thought out, and the cleanness of the design and freedom from dust-disturbing protruberances of both engine and crankease render it particularly adaptable to the driver, in that it would give him very little
trouble to keep clean or in running order. The method of drive is through a three-speed gearbox. operated by a novel form of hand lever, the swing-over position of which can be altered through a ser-,' rated boss, which is capable of being adjusted upon slackening a nut. The features of the chassis were included in our issue of the 5th June; they are of the conventional type. The chassis cost, fitted with Dunlop pneumatics, is £95. There is also exhibited on this stand a very fine example of a light delivery van suitable for accommodating articles of delicate fabric. The ambulance van exhibited shows that this concern is well to the front in respect of light commercial models.
