• Two men have been arrested and questioned by police investigating the theft of a lorry carrying £160,000 worth of Famous Grouse whisky.
The scotch, destined for Greece, was on a 38-tonne artic which was driven away from a depot in Gloucester during the weekend.
The tractor has since turned up in a layby at Moreton Valence, near Gloucester, but the trailer and scotch are still missing.
Last week police said that following the theft two men in
their forties from Gloucester had been arrested, interviewed and released on bail.
The trailer, loaded with 1,000 cases of Famous Grouse, was towed away from the Spallhaul Hauliers yard in Gloucester On Sunday after a man had walked up to a security guard and asked for the keys to the truck. The unsuspecting guard handed them over.
The theft is being linked with a raid on the same haulage firm in January when 2366,000 worth of Next clothing was stolen.
