Says B.O.C.P.R.0 THE Jack report is described by the British Omnibus Companies Public Relations Committee as " manifestly unworkable." The recommendation of a direct subsidy through the county councils, says the committee, " shows a• complete lack of appreciation of the essential basis and structure of the bus industry, which has always worked on the principle of a very high degree of cross-subsidy. The majority proposal would endanger the whole of this patiently built-up structure.
