CAP has revealed who will replace John Watts as the new manager for CAP Monitor.
paul Daws is joining the CAP Group as forecast manager to replace the outgoing John Watts. He is to manage CAPcalc, which handles fleet revaluation and was launched in 2003. Watts ran CAP Monitor, which predicts future values on new commercial vehicle stock, from 1999.
Daws has more than 25 years' experience in the industry, starting out as a mechanic for Volvo in 1979. He worked in sales for Scaui a, developed new truck dealerships for M-B, lveco and an independent HGV retailer, as well as working in a variety of truck component sales operations across the UK.
CAPcalc has been developed by Watts while running Monitor.The Group now feels the CAPcalc brand requires an exclusive product manager.
Watts will now focus exclusively on developing a series of new car, van and truck sector-specific CAPcalc solutions, after an extended hand-over period with Daws. •
