IMPROVEMENTS have been made in L the latest model of Peregrine engine oil :eaters produced by Power Frequency -leafing, Ltd., Lampton Road, Hounslow. Viiddx.
The latest heater consists of an open:nded tube lined with a sheathed conluctor wound in a close spiral, the inner iiameter of the spiral forming an oil )assage. The unit is fitted inside the :nine sump, with its axis inclined at a mall angle to the horizontal. The ubular design promotes convection, so hat when the heater is switched on the leat is rapidly distributed throughout the nass of oil. There is said to be no risk )f the oil being overheated, as the ntensity of heat input from the heater urface to the oil is kept low.
