A PURPOSE-BUILT vehicle fitted with the new Cargolif in-built lifting platform has been supplied by specialist bc4 builders Wilsdon and Co Ltd of Solihull for Transfleet Servic Based on a Ford D 1010 chassis cab, the body is construct, from grp panels with a one-piece aluminium roof. The Wilsdon Cargolifta consists of a box-van body with tl lifting platform built entirely within the body structure. A lo; retaining safety bar is fitted to the 1.1m (3ft 6in) deep liftii platform so that the goods cannot foul the rear shutter.
The inside of the body is completely free of obstructions whi( can damage the goods and, as the vehicle will be loaded wit wheeled pallets, Wilsdon claims that precautions have be taken to ensure that they can be secured in any position.
