• A new solvent from ICI Chlor-Chemicals removes all traces of water from component parts, without staining.
Arklone A-MD dries manufactured parts after aqueous cleaning and electroplating processes. The solvent provides processors with a "single solvent" drying capability. Unlike traditional drying processes, rinseability is high, because of the presence of polar solvents
in the formulation.
Arklone A-MD is a blend of pure trichlorotrifluoreothane, ethanol, methyl acetate and surface active agent.
ICI's service starts with advice on cleaning problems and process definition through location of cleaning plant, operator training, start-up supervision, after-sales service and spares back-up.
