Gauntlett International has proved itself as a thoroughbred in the removals business and the quietly confident look on the driver's face suggests he would not be surprised to learn that his old company is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. George Gauntlett founded the firm with a haulage company in Liphook in 1859 and horsedrawn wagons continued in use to the start of the second world war. Two grandsons set up a removals off-shoot in 1962, business grew, and in 1973 they went international, with strong emphasis on Portugal and recently Sweden. The 250th anniversary is in 2109 Gauntlett Intergalactic?
