technology, International Road Safety Training (IRST) was launching the first 'hands-on' UK advanced driver training course specialising in emergency avoidance techniques in the prevention of rollovers and jack-knifing. As well as this, it was demonstrating the importance of correct emergency braking techniques with and without the use of ABS.
As IRST vehicles are fitted with ESP braking products, drivers are able to experience the effects of ESP and the sensation it produces when driving on the road.
Statistics show that as many as 90% of major incidents and 70% of general road accidents could be avoided if drivers knew how to use their vehicles properly in an emergency situation.
