"TRY to bring your own casualty" is not an exhortation to the public while ambulance crews join in industrial action by health-service workers. It is a request by the Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators to those who wish to demonstrate their expertise and equipment at the Royal Norfolk Showground at Costessey, Norfolk, during the weekend of September 11-12.
Double-deck buses, heavy lorries and cars will be crashed and salvaged. It is comforting to know that the fire and accident rescue services, as well as the police, will also be taking part.
