• LEP Group has planned massive expansion of its distribution and freight forwarding services in Europe — particularly in the Eastern bloc. Chairman John Head has announced that pre-tax profits are up 44% from £18.5m to £26.5m.
"We have always done a substantial amount of business with the eastern bloc and the political changes that have taken place over the past few months have thrown up new opportunities in our field," he says.
