HINO IS BELIEVED to be on the brink of a major launch on the UK market. Sources close to the Japanese manufacturing company say it has been talking
to truck dealers in the UK about building up a network. and has scheduled a launch for the CV Show in April.
Sales of the Nino eight-legger, which is popular in Ireland, have started to pick up in the UK on the back of a renewed campaign; a Euro-4 model will debut at the show.
This eight-wheeler. powered by a 13-litre engine rated at 410hp. is set to spearheac new UK range as the comp seeks to take advantage of demise of Foden. It is expec to be joined by a tractor u and possibly also by a ligh weight chassis.
