THE Eastern Licensing Authority has deferred his decision on the application of Westcliff-on-Sca Motor Services, Ltd., for an all-the-year-round service between Southend and London until the Metropolitan Licensing Authority gives a decision on _ the backing application.
The second day of the hearing in the primary area was March 18. The first day's proceedings were reported in The Conunercial Motor last week.
A date has not yet been fixed for the hearing of the backing application, which is expected to be important, as it is concerned primarily with a proposed picking-up and setting-down point at _thy: new town of Basildon.
