LAST WEEK'S BAR conference in London was in the typical BAR mould — a fashion now being copied by others.
There were no golf outings or visits to the local textile mills — well, there aren't any in Piccadilly, but you know what I mean.
No coffee mornings or an end-of-conference ball. It was Just a one-day affair with every minute crammed full of business. They were even 15 minutes over-run on the morning session and, by all accounts, it was all good stuff.
