Kinshofer
Kinshofer's latest bucket and grab attachments are now integrated into a single XPH drive unit.
Connecting hoses are unnecessary, as a vertical connection direct Irom the rotator now supplies the oil, a hydraulic driven piston moving two contra-rotating shafts with helical grooves, in sync' and uniformly.
Its normal working pressure of 250 to 320 bar is protected by four inner pressure relief valves.
The bucket shells bolt to the shafts and are easily replaced; undo eight bolts and the tour connector caps, lift the HPX drive, refit it onto a new HPX drive, replace the caps and tighten the bolts.
Shafts and piston are nitrate hardened and, by running in a permanent oil bath, grease nipples are eliminated, all of which, claims Kinsholer, contributes to a 500/D longer service life.
