GEORGE ALEXANDER, chief editor. commercial vehicles, at Glass's Information Services, reports that dealers seeking four to five-year-old tractor units in good condition are increasingly finding themselves competing against exporters.
"Exporters are getting very choosy these days," he adds, -It's unlikely they'd be interested in year-old vehicles, but they certainly want good-qualityV and W-plated examples, especially if they've got MAN. Mercedes or Volvo badges on them. They like Scanias of that vintage too. Anything they buy has got to be around 400hp."
