• Giromax of Lutterworth is marketing a brushable silicon coating that is said to eliminate leaks on boxvan trailers or Luton bodies without the need for re-riveting or paneling. Used with a flexible bandage it can also be applied to
damaged side curtains and then painted over.
The product, which has been used for many years as an anti-corrosion coating on steel paneling, is a neutral curing, UVF and temperaturestable silicon that reacts with moisture in the atmosphere to form an elastic rubber seal on most other surfaces.
