Those hoping to avoid penalty charges for unwittingly entering London's Congestion Charging zone and to steer clear of speeding fines may be interested in a new device from Morpheous. The latest Roadllot uses GPS technology to track vehicles and alert drivers whenever they get near the charging zone, as well as showing the posttlon, distance and bearing of any nearby speed cameras.
The system provides visual warnings on a 3.8-inch LCD display. Voice and other audible warnings can also be used. The display shows a vehicle's precise GPS location, its proximity to the charging zone, vehicle speed and the position of nearby speed cameras. It also shows the official speed limit in the vicinity of any camera—clalmed to be a world first by the company.
RoadPilot can be easily transferred from vehicle to vehicle and costs 1495 (inc VAT).
