i. A murder investigation is underway after the death of a truck driver on the M3 last week.
Michael Little. of Hornchurch, Essex, died from heart failure after being hit in the chest by an object thrown through his windscreen from a footbridge at Camberley, Surrey in the early hours of last Friday morning (21 March).
DCI Graham Hill, who is leading the investigation, said Little's "actions after this happened were impeccable and demonstrated his professionalism to the end as he managed to pull over onto the hard shoulder and control the vehicle".
Little, 53, had worked for Ford at its Dagenham plant for 26 years.
