May I bring to your notice, something which must affect many small coach operators.
For many years we have been providing coaches to the National Bus Company, in the summer months; but it now appears that the National Bus Company has made arrangements with the trade unions that only drivers holding a trade union card must operate these services.
As we have no one belonging to a trade union, and no one wants to, it means that we are denied this work, as we are self employed, or the partners are What kind of a country are we becoming, this England of ours, of free people, when working men are deprived of work, simply because they do not belong to a trade union?
