for loading and unloading through the rear. The Brake Bros vehicle on an Iveco chassis, has a chilled (+4°C) compartment at the front and a frozen (-25°C) rear compartment.
Normally these would be reached through side an rear doors, but in this case food from the chilled compartment is unloaded through the frozen section. This allows cold air into the chilled section and warm air into the frozen section, upsetting the temperatures in each.
The RVL body is fitted with a DC heater to keep temperatures balanced, A air management system blows heated air into the chilled compartment and cold air (from the deep
frozen eutectic plates mounted behind the bulk head) into the frozen sec tion. A heavy-duty alternc tor is fitted to operate the heater.
