Mr. Sam Henderson, National Passenger Group Secretary of the Transport and General Workers Union argued the case for a " substantial " increase in wages and a reduction of the working week from 42 to 40 hours.
Mr. Brian Harbour, a member of the Executive, told the Union team that the Executive would consider the claim.
Goodyear Changes ON the appointment of Mr. M. S. Meyer. as Goodyear regional director for Europe. Mr. A. H. Pendree has succeeded him as managing director of the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. (Great Britain) Ltd. Taking Mr. Pendree's place as sales director is Mr. C. I. Pilliod, previously managing director of Goodyear do Brasil.
Mr. Meyer remains deputy chairman of the British company.
