• Bullens Transport Group Ltd has completed one of the largest factory removal projects ever undertaken in this country. It involved the dismantling of chemical and processing plant and equipment from the premises of Parke, Davis and Company, pharmaceutical manufacturers, at Hounslow in Middlesex and its transport and reinstallation at the company's newly-built premises in Pontypool, 120 miles away, together with the design and installation of associated pipework and electrical services.
The contract, valued at over £300,000, was spread over a period of 12 months in order to meet production requirements.
• Two new depots have been opened by Rentco Nationwide Ltd, expanding the network of the company's semi-trailer fleet rental operations. One is at the Surrey Commercial Docks.
