With its revised management structure and enlarged dealer network (both of which have their roots in Seddon Atkinson) BMC is ready to expand its range. The coach-based low-entry RCV chassis is now established, but the conventional Professional is up for a modernisation programme. The first step is already with us, in the guise of the 625 for Strabane council. The cab is 150mm wider and 100mm longer: it's due for a facelift at the turn of the year, before a brand new cab is introduced in 2010. The f irst members of a range of construction chassis running from 18 to 32 tonnes will also arrive in the UK later this year.
