THERMO KING is now importing apparatus from the United and selling it under the title City Boss to small vehicle ope making a number of deliveries daily.
The City Boss is claimed to be the most powerful small system available and so of particular use where doors are oi repeatedly and so otherwise causing the stock temperature t and possibly spoil. Its 1/Bhp fan gives an airflow of 1,700c (2,224 cu yd/h) for fast temperature pull-down and even faster ery times.
The compressor is run off the engine — saving on fuel, weigi space. However, the unit can be plugged into standby power standing overnight.
Its compact aerodynamic condenser can be front-mounted c body, or skirt-mounted underneath the body.
The evaporator can be located close to the ceiling allowir maximum airflow and cargo space.
