S not proving easy to find a cessor to Sir Peter Masefield chairman of London insport. David Wetzel, 3irman of the Greater London uncil Transport Committee, o likes to call himself the lair", was appropriately sat when he suggested that the dertaking should be Iverted into a workers' co operative which would elect its own chairman.
Sir Peter's successor will have to be tough to withstand political interference from the GLC and the risk of unpleasant consequences in the High Court. Anyone is welcome to the job.
